
Accredited by the Guinness World Record TM in May 2004, Mission Hills Golf Club in China is currently the world’s largest. The ten 18-hole golf course are of the highest international standards spread across 80 km between Shenzhen and Dongguan, designed by ten of the world’s most respected golf masters: Jack Nicklaus, Vijay Singh, Annika Sorenstam, Ernie Els, Greg Norman, Jose Maria Olazabal, David Duval, Davia Leadbetter, Nick Faldo, and Jumbo Ozaki. The courses, wholly reflective of the style and skills of each designer, offer challenges found nowhere else in the world.
Mission Hills Golg Club has hosted more than 30 international tournaments in recent years, including the 100th Anniversary David Cup, the 1998 international Women’s Tennis Challenge, the Johnnie Walker Super Tour, and the China Open Snooker 2000. In November 2001, the club invited the world’s No. 1 player, Tiger Woods, for his first visit to China. The second Dynasty Cup returned to Mission Hills in April 2005 and will return again in 2007.
